YOUR MISSION

  • Understand DHEA
  • Find the right product
  • Make more gains than ever before

That path you’re on to making gains? It’s going to be a tough ride. And although hard work in and out of the gym will get you pretty far, sometimes you might want a little boost.

A DHEA supplement might be just what you need. But, like any supplement, it’s important to know how much you should take.

WHAT IS DHEA?

DHEA is short for dehydroepiandrosterone (now say it 3 times fast). Your body produces this naturally, and it’s usually highest in the morning. That’s why you tend to feel stronger and more mentally focused around breakfast time.

DHEA helps with glucose metabolism, brain and sexual functions, muscle building, bone density, and fat burning. So, it’s pretty damn important.

When your DHEA levels drop, so does your energy, sex drive and strength. It could also lead to muscle wastage, which is the last thing you want when you’re trying to make some serious gains!

WHY YOU SHOULD TAKE IT

Aging sucks, and it’s not just stiff joints and sore muscles you have to worry about. As you age, you start to lose cognitive function, sex drive and muscle mass. You’ll also find it harder to shed weight and lose that Dad bod you’ve been sporting.

A lot of this is directly related to declining levels of DHEA. Men over the age of 40 can lose up to 50% of their natural DHEA production. That’s why it’s a good idea to supplement it.

Younger people can also benefit from supplementing DHEA. When you do an intense workout several days a week, it can be pretty taxing on the body. In the worst cases, you can suffer from adrenal fatigue. With DHEA, you can wipe out this problem.

HOW MUCH SHOULD YOU TAKE?

You can find DHEA on pretty much any supplement store shelf. But you don’t always know how good the quality is, or if it’s even legit. And you should never leave your health to chance.

Marine Muscle has two DHEA supplements that are perfectly balanced for you – the Enduro and the Drill Master. They also contain additional ingredients that can take your gains to the next level.

Enduro contains L-citrulline, L-arginine and ginseng. Not only does it help with protein synthesis and muscle building, but it can also promote higher energy levels and fat burning.

With Enduro, you should take 3 capsules once a day. Take them on an empty stomach, about 45 minutes before your workout. This dosage contains 33 mg of DHEA. For you older guys, the recommended amount is anywhere from 60 to 100 mg. But if you’re under 40 years old, 25 mg is sufficient. So this is in the sweet spot.

The Drill Master has extra benefits, designed for hardgainers who have a tough time putting on mass. It has a good balance of DHEA – 33mg – and it contains whey protein, L-isoleucine, L-valine and L-leucine, which are the key amino acids for muscle-building.

The recommended daily dose for Drill Master is 3 capsules, 45 minutes after your workout.

    1. Hi Stephanie

Marine Muscle can work brilliantly for women, but in order to recommend which products you should take and how, it would help if you could give me an idea of what your current goals are?

      Thanks

  1. I had no idea that men over 40 could lose 50% of their natural DHEA production! My brother is a super active guy and enjoys competing in triathlons. He just turned 41 and has been complaining that he feels older than he used to, and I bet it has to do with his DHEA levels! I’ll be sure to recommend this to him, I think it could help him feel less fatigued.
